Super Adventure Pals

Super Adventure Pals (Super Smash Adv.) is a 2D action game that's quite similar to Super Smash Bros, where you can fight two enemies simultaneously and try to send them out of the ring.

You can control half a dozen different characters, all of them with slightly different looks, but with identical moves and abilities (which is kind of disappointing). You can fight in several different settings, all of them featuring a delightful pixel art style. In fact, the aesthetic is undoubtedly the best part of the game.

The gameplay is pretty simple: your aim is to punch your enemies until you send them out of the ring, while trying to stop them from doing the same to you. The first one to be pushed out three times loses the fight. In short, it's the same gameplay that any player of Super Smash Bros would know.

Super Adventure Pals is an action game with very pretty graphics, but a rather disappointing gameplay. It's not only that all the characters have the same moves, but that there's no strategy besides constantly pressing the attack button.
